AGIR Montréal offers a full calendar of activities, support groups, community dinners, creative workshops, & social gatherings, during the week & on weekends.
Whether you want to practice your French, connect with other LGBTQIA+ migrants &refugees, or simply spend time in a safe, welcoming space, there’s a place for you here.

Free Vaccination Clinic at AGIR
In collaboration with the CIUSSS Centre-Ouest, AGIR will be hosting a free vaccination clinic at our space.

Vaccines available include:
- COVID-19
- Flu (grippe),
- Pneumococcal
- Mpox
If you have a RAMQ card, we encourage you to bring it with you; however, it is not mandatory to access the service.
All vaccinations are provided free of charge. Everyone is welcome. Come by, take care of your health, & get vaccinated in a safe and welcoming environment.

Tango Queer Workshop
A space to move, connect, and grow, created for folks who want to explore movement, relationship, and community through tango.
More than a dance class, this workshop series uses the teachings of tango as a tool to strengthen key social and interpersonal skills, including:
- Non-verbal communication
- Trust-building and active listening
- Consent and shared decision-making
- Mind–body awareness and confidence
Whether you’re discovering tango for the first time or looking for a new way to build community, Tango Queer offers a meaningful, joyful, and affirming experience.

Guided by our facilitators, the sessions take place in a safe and inclusive environment where participants are invited to express themselves freely, learn at their own pace, and connect with others in a welcoming and supportive space. Come dance, learn, and belong, we can’t wait to meet you on the dance floor.

Black Pride

In the spirit of Black History Month, we’re coming together to celebrate Black joy, culture, and community.
This gathering is all about connection, celebration, and being together.Expect good food, art, music, and shared moments as we honor the stories, creativity, resilience, and brilliance of Black communities. In a warm, inclusive space, we’ll celebrate identity, self-expression, and collective joy.
Come as you are, to be seen, to connect, and to celebrate Black Pride together.

Support Group
Welcome to our support group, an inclusive, respectful, and confidential space where you can connect with others and feel supported.
This group offers a moment to pause, share your experiences, listen to others, or simply be present, at your own pace.
Whether you’re looking for connection, understanding, or a sense of community, you are welcome just as you are. There is no pressure to speak, participation can take many forms, and all experiences are respected.

The group is open to all and takes place in a multilingual setting, with space in French, English, Arabic, & Spanish, making it accessible to a diverse community.

French Practice Group: Pratiquons Ensemblea
Learning French with us is evolving! In response to community needs, we’re adapting our French practice group.
Our French Practice Group now offers two types of sessions to better support different learning needs:
- The first session of the month will be a beginner session, focused on learning the basics
- The second session of the month will be an open practice for all levels, where you can practice, build confidence, and share your French
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to feel more comfortable, this group offers a supportive space to learn together, share experiences, and connect with others navigating a new language.
New to the group? You’re always welcome.
You can join at any time, no need to have attended previous sessions.
Each session explores useful vocabulary and real-life situations to help you feel more at ease in daily life and social interactions in Québec.
Come learn and practice French in a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space.

AI tools for job search
Looking for a job in Québec can feel challenging, but the right tools can make a real difference.
This workshop is designed to help you use artificial intelligence tools to optimize your job search and present your experience more effectively.
You’ll learn the basic structure of a Québec-style CV, how employers read applications, and how to adapt your CV to specific job offers using AI. We’ll also explore practical strategies to improve clarity, relevance, and visibility, helping you better position yourself in the local labour market.

Whether you’re actively applying or preparing for future opportunities, this workshop will give you concrete tools to approach your job search with confidence.

Condom Cabaret
For General public

Condom sizes? Condom materials? Internal… what?!
Yup, we all have questions about our fellow condoms. Take a deep breath and join us in a fun, safe, and totally taboo-free space created for everyone, where we can finally get real answers to all of these questions.
Together, we’ll explore all the different condom options out there, the different sizes, materials, colors, shapes, finger condoms, internal condoms, and more, while also learning how to choose what fits our bodies, our practices, and our desires.
This workshop is held in partnership with ACCM to make sure everyone leaves not only informed, but fully equipped with the tools, confidence, and knowledge we need to feel ready for E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!

Queer Movement Session
For the Trans & Non-Binary Communities
Join us for a relaxed and joyful movement session for the Trans and Non-Binary Communities, designed for us, by us. Come as you are and move at your own pace.
Whether you want to stretch, dance, or just be in the space, this is a safe and supportive place to connect with your body and your community. Our team lovely member Hadi will guide simple, playful movement exercises to help us connect with our breath, our bodies, and each other, while celebrating queer joy and freedom.
You’ll also have time to take over the studio, move to your own music, and hang out with other trans and non-binary folks in a supportive space. No pressure. No expectations. Just us, moving together. We can’t wait to see you there!

Join us as we celebrate the Lunar New Year together, marking the very first time this tradition is honored in our space!

This festive gathering is all about sharing food, stories, and time together in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Come enjoy a moment of collective celebration where cultures meet, connections are made, and community takes center stage.
Whether you’re deeply familiar with Lunar New Year traditions or discovering them for the first time, you’re invited to take part in an intercultural celebration filled with togetherness, joy, and good food.
