1. Policy & Organizational Development Assistant
Canada Summer Jobs position | Deadline: May 8, 2026

About Us: AGIR Montréal defends the legal, social, and economic rights of LGBTQIA+ migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers using an anti-oppressive, person-centred approach.

The Role: We’re seeking a youth (15–30) to help strengthen our internal policies, documents, and systems. You’ll review existing policies (ethics, confidentiality, HR), conduct research on best practices, organize our Google Drive, develop templates, and help make our language more inclusive and accessible.

Ideal for: Youth interested in nonprofit administration, policy, human rights, or accessibility.

Details:

Qualifications: Interest in nonprofit policies; digital literacy (Google Drive, Word); understanding of anti-oppressive approaches. Lived experience as an LGBTQIA+ migrant is an asset.

Eligibility: Ages 15–30, Canadian citizen/PR/protected person.

2. Information Technology Assistant

The Role: We’re seeking a youth (15–30) to help improve and structure our digital tools and systems. You’ll review our CRM, organize cloud files, support compliance with Quebec’s Bill 25 (privacy and data protection), document IT processes, and contribute to cybersecurity best practices.

Core tasks include:

Ideal for: Youth interested in IT, data management, cybersecurity, or nonprofit tech.

Details:

Qualifications: Comfort with Google ecosystem, CRMs, Zoom, Google Scripts; interest in process documentation; understanding of anti-oppressive approaches. Lived experience as an LGBTQIA+ migrant is an asset.

(Volunteer position) Join the AGIR Board of Directors!

AGIR is powered by community, and we are looking for passionate volunteers to join our Board of Directors! Our board is made up of 9 dedicated individuals who work together to steer the organization, ensuring we stay true to our mission and maintain strong financial and social integrity.

Being a Board member means you are a steward of our values. You will be elected by the community and remain accountable to our service users, staff, and members. We need your unique skills to help us govern, plan, and grow.
